Behind The Book

Behind The Book is for people who are curious as to what the creative process looks like for a poet. I always appreciated behind-the-scenes content for my favorite athletes and artists. It made them real to me. I believe it bonds you with that person. It almost gives you some sweat equity because it feels like you are investing in that person by watching their struggle and successes. This is my invitation to join me as I create these poems. Come for the poems, the first drafts, the mess ups, the lines that get cut. Stay for the personality, the monologues, the family, the friends, the conversations that are all baked into what makes a poem. that hopefully turn into dialogues at the right time
